Kua Kua Corner Hawaiian Grill proudly embraces its humble origins. In 2018, we started serving Hawaiian-style inspired “plate-lunches” over an open flame in a cramped food truck in San Antonio, Texas.
Kua Kua Corner operated on a bootstrapped budget and a $35k gift from grandma and grandpa Kamaka. The food truck’s success enabled Kua Kua to upgrade to a small 1,500 sf space in South San Antonio. Ten years later, we’ve grown to four brick-and-mortar locations across the beautiful Emerald Coast. Even though we have moved out of the food truck and on to less cramped spaces, we remain both humble and ambitious in our search for the intersection of the “Spirit of Aloha” and the “American Dream”.
